Sandsea Conquest Guide: Strategies and Tips — Lands of Jail

Sandsea Conquest is a strategic alliance event in which three teams compete for control of the map.

Victory does not depend only on power or eliminations. Organization, route control, Fuel management, proper use of the Tactician, and control of the main structures can completely change the outcome of the battle.

In Sandsea Conquest, each alliance begins in a different region of the map and must expand its territory while protecting its own routes.

🗺️ Understand the three regions

The Sandsea Conquest map is divided among three teams:

Your alliance’s objective is to capture structures, generate points, protect its routes, and prepare the team to contest the Lighthouse and, later, the Drilling Platform S100.

Every action should contribute to at least one of those objectives.

👥 Organize the alliance into squads

Organize participating players into as many as six squads.

Each squad should be responsible for one primary region or Vessel Station. This makes it easier to distribute players across the map and prevents the entire alliance from moving toward the same objective.

One possible organization is:

Avoid placing all your strongest players in the same squad.

Distributing power across the map improves your defense and reduces the risk of losing multiple routes at the same time.

A balanced squad system also makes it easier to respond when an enemy unexpectedly attacks a different part of your territory.

🪖 Give each march a specific purpose

Each player can use their three marches for different responsibilities.

Even a weaker march can be valuable.

It may not defeat a powerful opponent, but it can occupy a structure and delay the enemy long enough for reinforcements to arrive.

The value of a march is not determined only by how many opponents it can defeat. Timing and positioning matter too.

🚉 Protect the Vessel Stations

There are six important Vessel Stations connected to each territory.

These structures must be protected because they help control the routes leading into and out of your region.

If your alliance loses a Vessel Station, the enemy may gain easier access to the interior of your territory and the structures connected to that route.

Maintaining control of the routes gives your alliance more time to respond to attacks and makes it harder for opponents to advance.

🚀 Spread out during the opening phase

At the beginning of the match, spread your players across the map.

Capture the available small and medium structures quickly so your alliance can begin generating points.

Avoid placing too many players in the same queue while other structures remain open and uncontested.

During the opening phase:

• [ ] Protect the Vessel Stations.
• [ ] Control the routes leading into your territory.
• [ ] Avoid unnecessary battles.
• [ ] Save Fuel for the later phases.
• [ ] Check the queue before joining a battle.

Your strongest players should enter important battles first because arrival order influences how the fight develops.

If weaker players enter first during a decisive confrontation, they may be eliminated before the alliance’s strongest marches can break the enemy defense.

⛽ Save Fuel for decisive moments

Fuel is a strategic resource mainly used for rapid movement and support.

During the beginning of the match, conserve it.

Avoid wasting Fuel on teleports, returns, or movements that are not truly necessary.

Fuel becomes much more important when the Lighthouse and Drilling Platform S100 are being contested.

Using too much Fuel during the opening phase may leave your alliance unable to reposition quickly when the most valuable objectives become available.

Think of Fuel as a resource for decisive moments, not routine movement.

🧠 Choose the right Tactician

The Tactician has one of the most important roles on the team.

This player should not be selected only because they have the highest power.

The ideal Tactician should:

• [ ] Monitor the entire map.
• [ ] Communicate quickly with the alliance.
• [ ] Understand when and where to use each ability.
• [ ] Stay alive throughout the battle.
• [ ] Avoid fighting on the front line.

The Tactician’s available tools can change the outcome of important confrontations.

Assault Breach

Weakens the defenders of a structure before your alliance attacks it.

Use it when the enemy defense is strong or when your team needs to capture a decisive objective quickly.

Battlefield Aid

Supports allied players who are defending a position.

It can help your alliance maintain control after capturing a valuable structure.

Repositioning support

Allows players to reposition and makes it easier to escape unfavorable situations.

Use it to reorganize the team or prevent players from becoming trapped in the wrong area.

Mercenary defenders

Summons mercenary defenders to help protect a structure.

This can provide valuable support when your alliance needs to hold a position while its main players are occupied elsewhere.

Strategic Deployment

Creates a teleport point that allows allied players to spend Fuel and reach the area quickly.

It becomes especially important during battles over the center of the map.

Do not activate abilities simply because they are available. Use each one according to the current situation and your alliance’s plan.

🗼 Prepare for the Lighthouse phase

When the Lighthouse becomes available, your alliance’s priority changes.

The corresponding positions are:

Send some of your strongest players and try to establish control quickly.

Place the War Banner near the Lighthouse so your team can benefit from its bonus during the confrontation.

Before launching the attack:

1. Check the current battle queue.

2. Place your strongest players first.

3. Use Assault Breach if necessary.

4. Capture the Lighthouse.

5. Use Battlefield Aid to help your team maintain control.

Controlling the Lighthouse during this phase provides an important advantage in both points and Fuel.

However, do not completely abandon your original territory when the Lighthouse opens. Your Vessel Stations and routes must remain protected.

⛏️ Prepare for Drilling Platform S100

The Drilling Platform S100 is located at the center of the map and is the main objective of the final phase.

Before it opens:

• [ ] Maintain control of your Vessel Stations.
• [ ] Protect the routes connected to the center.
• [ ] Keep your strongest players ready.
• [ ] Organize the battle queue.
• [ ] Save enough Fuel for rapid movement.

When Drilling Platform S100 opens:

1. ⚔️ Send your strongest players first.

2. 📍 Use Strategic Deployment near the center.

3. 🔥 Begin spending the Fuel saved during the earlier phases.

4. 🔄 Reinforce the position quickly whenever allied players are defeated.

The alliance’s strategy should become considerably more aggressive during this phase.

The advantages created by controlling routes and conserving Fuel must now be converted into control of the central platform.

🔄 Manage battle queues correctly

Sending a large number of players is not enough in Sandsea Conquest.

The order of the queue also matters.

If a structure already has a very long queue and your strongest players are correctly positioned at the front, it may be better to use your march on another objective.

During decisive battles, however, the strongest players should enter first.

They can break the initial defense and improve the chances of the following players capturing the structure.

Always check whether your march can provide more value somewhere else before joining an already crowded position.

🛡️ Respond correctly when a route is lost

Do not panic and send every player to the same location.

If the enemy captures one of your Vessel Stations, immediately protect the next connected structure.

Use this response:

1. Identify the lost Vessel Station.

2. Defend the next point along the route.

3. Delay the enemy’s advance.

4. Organize reinforcements.

5. Attempt to stabilize the route before launching a counterattack.

Weaker marches can be extremely useful in this situation.

Even if they cannot defeat the enemy, they may delay the advance long enough for stronger allies to arrive.

The immediate priority is preventing one lost structure from becoming an open route through your entire territory.

⏱️ Change priorities during the final 10 minutes

During the final minutes, stop spending strength on low-value structures.

Prioritize:

1. Drilling Platform S100

2. Lighthouse

3. Essential routes and Vessel Stations

The recommended approach is to concentrate the team on the highest-value objectives during the final 10 minutes.

If your alliance is behind

⚔️ Increase the pressure on Drilling Platform S100 and the Lighthouse.

Your team may need to accept more risk and play aggressively to recover the point difference.

If your alliance is winning

🛡️ Stabilize your positions and force the opposing alliances to take risks.

Do not abandon valuable structures simply to chase enemy players.
