🏁 Three races. Three prisoners. One total score.
Riot Runway combines prisoner selection, card combinations, and timed acceleration. Assign one prisoner to each of the 3 races; each prisoner can be used in only one race. Final rankings use the total points from all three races.
🏆 Points for each finish
| Race position | Points |
|---|---|
| 1st | 5 |
| 2nd | 3 |
| 3rd | 2 |
| 4th | 1 |
Rewards are distributed according to the final ranking. Plan all three races rather than judging your result from only one finish.
👤 Choose your prisoner and watch the hand limit

| Prisoner in the reference | Maximum cards during their race |
|---|---|
| Prisoner 1 — curly hair, orange uniform | 10 cards |
| Prisoner 2 — glasses, teal uniform | 9 cards |
| Prisoner 3 — beard, brown uniform | 8 cards |
Outside races, the hand limit is 8 cards. During a race, it depends on the competing prisoner. These limits do not establish a speed ranking; the supplied reference does not give base-speed values.
🃏 Drawing and playing cards

- Start race 1 with 8 cards.
- Draw 3 cards before selecting prisoners for races 2 and 3.
- Also draw 3 cards whenever a prisoner reaches a Supply Point during a race.
- Drawing cards cannot exceed the current hand limit.
- There is a 5-second cooldown between card plays.
- Card combinations provide different acceleration multipliers; some cards also activate a skill when played.
⚡ Acceleration combinations
| Combination | Requirement | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Any single card | 1 card | 1.1× |
| Pair | 2 cards of the same rank | 1.5× |
| Three of a kind | 3 cards of the same rank | 3× |
| Four of a kind | 4 cards of the same rank | 6× |
| 2 consecutive pairs | 2 pairs with consecutive ranks | 2.5× |
| 3 consecutive pairs | 3 pairs with consecutive ranks | 3.6× |
| 4 consecutive pairs | 4 pairs with consecutive ranks | 4× |
| 4-card straight | 4 consecutive ranks | 1.4× |
| 5-card straight | 5 consecutive ranks | 2.4× |
| 6-card straight | 6 consecutive ranks | 3.5× |
| 7-card straight | 7 consecutive ranks | 3.9× |
| 8-card straight | 8 consecutive ranks | 4.2× |
| 9-card straight | 9 consecutive ranks | 4.6× |
| 10-card straight | 10 consecutive ranks | 5× |
| Double triplets | 2 sets of 3 cards of the same rank | 5× |
The table lists acceleration multipliers from the supplied reference, not guaranteed final-speed or race-win multipliers. A longer combination is not automatically stronger: four of a kind is listed at 6×, while a 10-card straight is 5×.
✨ Skills and Jokers
| Skill | Effect when played |
|---|---|
| Second Wind | Increases your prisoner's speed for a short time. |
| Team Burden | Slows all opponents. |
| Forced Burden | Slows the leading opponent. |
| Victory Spirit | Grants immunity to 1 debuff. |
| Double Draw | Draws 2 cards immediately. |
A Joker can replace a card to complete a combination. Example: a Joker plus three 2s forms four 2s. The Joker Bomb, formed by two Jokers, has a 12× combination bonus in the reference.
🔎 Show detailed guide
1. Plan all three assignments
Each prisoner can be assigned to only one race. Your final score adds the points from all three races, so keep the remaining prisoner choices in mind after each finish.
The reference identifies hand limits of 10, 9, and 8 for the three prisoners, but does not give their base speeds or a fixed optimal order. Choose with the actual in-game information rather than assuming the 10-card prisoner must always race first.
2. Track card supply
| Moment | Cards / limit |
|---|---|
| Start of race 1 | 8 starting cards |
| Before prisoner selection for races 2 and 3 | Draw 3 cards, subject to the current limit |
| Reach a Supply Point during a race | Draw 3 cards, subject to the current limit |
| Outside races | Maximum 8 cards |
| During a race | Maximum 10 / 9 / 8, depending on the competing prisoner |
Double Draw provides 2 immediate cards, but the poster does not describe an exception allowing cards above the hand limit. Check the in-game behavior before relying on an overflow.
3. Compare combinations instead of counting cards alone
A pair is 1.5×, three of a kind is 3×, and four of a kind is 6×. Consecutive pairs and straights have their own values. Examples of consecutive pairs include 5–5, 6–6; a straight uses consecutive ranks such as 5–6–7–8.
For double triplets, each set contains three matching ranks, for example Q–Q–Q and K–K–K. The reference lists this combination at 5×.
The supplied guide does not define suit restrictions, Ace ordering, or whether a sequence can wrap around the highest rank. Use the combination recognition shown by the game for edge cases.
4. Use skills for the situation
- Second Wind: a short speed increase for your own prisoner.
- Team Burden: affects all opponents.
- Forced Burden: targets the current leader.
- Victory Spirit: protects against one debuff, not every future slowdown.
- Double Draw: gives two immediate cards; plan around your hand space.
The poster does not provide skill percentages or exact durations. Do not assume those details or that a skill bypasses the normal card-play cooldown.
5. Decide how to use Jokers
A Joker can complete a combination, while two Jokers form the 12× Joker Bomb. Compare your available options and the current race situation instead of assuming you must always save every Joker for a bomb.
The reference does not provide a guaranteed optimal play sequence, a full scoring simulation, or reward quantities. Check the race interface and current reward screen.
